Earlier, he was having a serious conversation with mom about the advantages/disadvantages of chemo & radiation treatments and her quality of life. He said "it's between a hard & a rock place." I wanted to laugh SO badly - but instead, I just wrote it down.
Throughout the conversation, he kept saying, "We'll play by da ear." And then, speaking of his nurse, he told mom that "she keeps me on your toes."
I think I might be getting waaay too much of a kick out of this!!! But figured if I thought it was funny, you just might, too!

Very funny! Also, it's sad that no one comments on your blogs.

Anita,
That was a funny story..
I work with some drs where I work that can be hard to understand. Usually I don't laugh because its not always professional but reading your story made me chuckle. Life is too serious sometimes and laughter is good for the soul!

Well, I just have to say that i am glad I was not there or there would have been much guffawing, cackeling, a riotous laughing!!! Even better that PAUWA wasn't there too! Miss you both and those laughable times.
A good laugh is always needed - especially under the circumstances. What is it they say? "Laughter is the best medicine" I can see you trying not to chuckle and doodling away at the same time....i think that makes me laugh even more!! :) -mzzbev
