- Mom Lyons is running a slight fever, but has no signs of infection. It could be from the introduction of the vent tube, the NG tube or the EIGHT attempts to get an arterial line yesterday.
- No reason to do dialysis right now
- Doing very well on the vent, oxygen levels are at 98%
- They're keeping her well sedated
- Putting out more fluid
- Blood pressure has stabilized
- They will do a bronchoscopy today to remove a small amount of fluid that has accumulated in her lungs to keep her from developing pneumonia.
- Abdomen is still hard & distended, but seems to be getting a little smaller.
- The doctors seem a little more hopeful this morning, but constantly remind the family that this could be the eye of the hurricane. (for you non-Floridians, the calm before the storm)
